# RWG Real Paper

**Abstract**

As our world gets faster, the mediums that we use are in real time. Online casino gambling has stayed stuck in a disconnected "stop-go" model. It is time to make gambling real time and connect it to the real world in order to unlock new experiences.

**Executive summary**

Real World Gaming (RWG) has identified a critical challenge in the crypto gambling market: linear games tend to lose player engagement quickly. To address this, RWG proposes the development of innovative, long-term engagement mechanisms that can sustain player interest and drive continued participation. RWG is a catalyst to open the crypto gambling space to new, exciting forms of entertainment powered by real-world data.

**Overview**

Crypto narratives change, and attention refocuses at lightning speed because of the pure digital nature of its components. Its players are permanently plugged into real-time news and this causes prices to move in real-time based on events. Casino games, slots and live game gambling have not evolved to take account of this. RWG gives the customer their desire for real-time entertainment in the gaming formats that are familiar to them. Specifically powering the gambling formats we have today but with real data will reignite the tired formats with a fresh approach. We propose to build products to fulfil this vision with:

1. Unique standalone real-world virtual games
2. Real world-powered casino
3. Real world data-powered virtual sports

In combining these 3 aspects we see a new category of casino and entertainment emerging that is: Real World Gaming.

For decades, players have been entertained by virtual games powered by real-world data, offering the thrill of speculating on a potential outcome. These games, commonly known as "Fantasy Sports", have allowed players to immerse themselves in the excitement of predicting and shaping virtual results based on real-world performances.
