The Raw Pass NFT is a core element of the Real World Gaming (RWG) ecosystem, offering exclusive benefits to its holders. Initially created to provide token claims and access to unique privileges, the Raw Pass has evolved into a powerful tool for engaging the RWG community. It serves as a gateway to additional rewards, increased staking benefits, and a deeper connection to the RWG ecosystem.
As part of RWG’s commitment to delivering a fresh and engaging experience, we are introducing a comprehensive overhaul of the Raw Pass’s metadata and artwork. The new art direction aligns with RWG’s evolving brand identity and future product offerings, providing a modern, visually compelling representation of the Raw Pass. This update transforms Raw Passes into highly desirable collectibles, further strengthening their value within the community.
Art Update: The Raw Passes will be redesigned to reflect RWG’s modern aesthetic, providing a more immersive experience for holders. This includes turning Raw Pass NFTs into Profile Picture (PFP) collectibles, encouraging holders to proudly display them across social media platforms, increasing visibility, and community pride.
Metadata Refresh: The overhaul will include updates to metadata, allowing for better integration within the RWG gaming and gambling platforms, as well as external marketplaces. The metadata will also capture and display key information, such as staking status, bonus multipliers, and tier benefits, offering a clearer picture of each holder’s standing within the RWG ecosystem.
To further enhance the value of Raw Passes leading into the TGE, RWG has committed to a buyback strategy designed to support the market and maintain a stable price floor for the NFTs. This buyback initiative ensures that a portion of the fees generated by the RWG protocol is redirected toward purchasing Raw Passes from the open market. By doing so, the RWG DAO actively supports the price of Raw Passes and reinforces their value to the community.
Buyback Schedule: A structured buyback schedule is in place to acquire a targeted 4,555 Raw Passes, ensuring consistent demand leading up to key events, such as the TGE.
DAO Holdings: All bought-back Raw Passes will be held by the DAO, and the next steps for these passes—whether to burn, redistribute, or otherwise utilize them—will be subject to community voting. This democratic process keeps the RWG community engaged and gives participants direct influence over the future of the Raw Pass ecosystem.
This buyback initiative is part of a broader effort to foster confidence and maintain a healthy market for Raw Pass holders. By actively supporting the price of Raw Passes, the RWG DAO aims to ensure that these NFTs retain and grow in value over time, providing an added layer of security for investors.
One of the primary utilities of the Raw Pass is the ability to claim $REAL tokens, the native currency that powers the RWG ecosystem. As RWG transitions into the Token Generation Event (TGE), Raw Pass holders will be able to claim a portion of the $REAL tokens. This utility reinforces the value of the Raw Pass and gives holders a direct stake in the success of the RWG platform.
Token Claim Structure: Raw Pass holders will have the opportunity to claim $REAL tokens based on the number of passes they own and the tiers they qualify for. This process will be simplified through the RWG platform, ensuring that all eligible participants can easily claim their tokens.
